DNS Lookup Tool
Query DNS records for a domain and inspect the answers returned by a resolver. DNS lookup is useful for checking changes, diagnosing missing records and understanding how a hostname reaches an internet service.
What a DNS lookup returns
DNS maps names to records such as A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS and TXT. This tool queries those types so you can see the answers a resolver currently returns for a hostname.
When to run a DNS lookup
Use it after changing nameservers, adding mail or website records, or diagnosing a domain that will not load. Cached answers can lag, and different resolvers may disagree until TTL expires.
