Website Censorship Check
Check a website from several geographic regions and compare the results with control locations. The comparison helps separate a possible regional block from a destination that is unavailable everywhere.
How a censorship check works
Probes in several countries fetch a URL and the results are compared with control regions. Failure in one country with success elsewhere can indicate filtering; failure everywhere more often means the site is down.
Limits of regional availability tests
A blocked or timed-out probe is a signal, not legal proof of censorship. CDNs, geo-fencing, captchas and short outages can look similar. Compare several countries and a known-good control before drawing a conclusion.
