How to Check Your IP Address
You do not need a terminal to see the address websites use. Open InstantIPCheck, wait for the report, and read IPv4, IPv6, city and ISP on one sheet.
On InstantIPCheck
Go to the homepage. The first large number is your current public address. Switch IPv4 and IPv6 if both exist. The copy control sits next to the number.
If you expected a VPN country and still see your usual city, the tunnel is not covering this browser — or only one IP family is routed.
Looking up another IP
Choose Lookup, paste a public IP or hostname, and run the search. Use this for a server, a VPN exit you were given, or a log line from an application.
